With a Bachelor’s of Interior Design and more than 15 years of experience in the residential construction and interior design industries, Katie Jones, Riverside Homes Custom Director of Operations and Design, is there to expertly guide you through the home building journey. Her NCIDQ Certification, the industry’s recognized indicator of proficiency in interior design principles, adds an additional level of confidence for clients to have in the caliber of her work. Combining her knowledge of interior design and building construction, Katie offers the rare ability to seamlessly merge the two most important sides of home building.

During your custom-building experience, you will also work closely with Victoria Wirtz, ASID, Riverside Homes Custom Project Coordinator. Victoria holds a Bachelor’s degree focused in Interior Design, and has nearly a decade of experience in the interior design industry. Her passion on placing the utmost importance on customer-centricity is evident as she guides clients before, during, and after the home building process while ensuring they are engaged with the status of their custom home every step of the way.

The Riverside Homes Custom team’s unique approach to completing design selections for your build has been developed and refined through years of working with a multitude of home buyers on many different projects. This experience has provided them the knowledge to create a distinctive approach to the design process. Instead of sending buyers on a multitude of unguided appointments at different showrooms, appointments are streamlined into only a handful, with either their designer or one of their valued trade partners to lead the meeting and answer questions.

The feedback from these design meetings, combined with inspiration photos, Houzz and Pinterest boards, and the answers from our design questionnaire are all used to create a complete design presentation, including all the design information and pricing that will be needed to build their home. Design presentation day is an exciting time when a buyer’s ideas come to life as they are presented their completed selections, along with material samples, diagrams, pricing, and of course champagne!
