Ron DeSantis said, "I think it’s going to create more opportunities for folks in Nassau County... it’s going to expand our economic base and our tax base." The transport possibilities by both land and sea make Nassau County an extremely attractive site for any manufacturing company. DeSantis also stated the importance of bringing more job opportunities to a growing area. He concluded by saying, "This is the type of project that can really, really make an impact, so we’re happy to be able to do it here."
