Building Dreams, Building Community Part 1: Riverside Homes Partners with Builders Care for 'Home from the Heart' Project

At Riverside Homes, the phrase "Building with Heart" isn't just a slogan; it's a way of life. Led by co-owners Matt Roberts and Chris Wood, our company embodies a dedication to not only crafting exceptional homes but also making a positive impact within the First Coast community. We are thrilled to announce our role as the builder for Builders Care’s 'Home from the Heart' project in Seabrook Village at Nocatee. As a non-profit and charitable arm of the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA), Builders Care provides cost-effective construction to the elderly, the disabled and other nonprofits throughout Northeast Florida.

As the 2023 President of NEFBA, Chris skillfully leveraged his leadership position to foster a valuable partnership between NEFBA and Riverside Homes. This relationship led to Riverside Homes' involvement with “Home from the Heart”. In this unique initiative, a homebuyer purchases the home, and all proceeds from the sale are directed to Builders Care. This serves as a profoundly significant fundraiser for the organization, contributing a substantial portion to their annual budget. Several vendors even generously provided discounted labor and/or products for the home's construction, allowing us to boost the home’s profit and further support Builders Care's mission. The donation will allow Builders Care to continue their mission of helping the most vulnerable Northeast Florida residents with no-cost or very low-cost home repairs and construction.
