We arrived in FL in late summer 2021 needing to establish residency very quickly to enroll our son in school. After 3 solid days of dead ends and being told no builder could come through for us, we met Brian Thurston of Riverside Homes in Silverleaf Village. Not only did Brian and Riverside Homes come through, we were able to close on and move in our new home in 33 days. To make it even more remarkable, we had never been to the area and did not have a realtor. From the second we met Brian, we knew we had come across the right guy (and company). And it was late on a Sunday afternoon when he was probably ready to go home himself. There was a genuine/honest feeling from the time we walked in the model home door until the time we received our keys at closing. This was our third time building a house and while the house was 90% complete when we found it, it was the interaction with Brian that made it a home. Riverside Homes built us a spectacular home that is truly a showplace of special touches and thoughtful design. And while hopefully many home builders can deliver on that front, not many can deliver on the people end of it. The professionalism and downright friendly personality that Brian exuded just doesn’t exist in many places anymore. We are more than thrilled to have a beautiful Riverside home but even more so as we made a wonderful friend along the way.

I absolutely LOVED working with Riverside Homes to build my home. They were recommended to me since I was out of state and not familiar with the various builders or communities. We are so grateful to have had such an amazing team to work with during our homebuilding process. Building during a global pandemic definitely had some hiccups, but the entire team made sure to keep us informed and worked extremely hard to make progress whenever they could. When we started the process, we said we wanted this to be our forever home, and now that we are in that is definitely the case! A huge thank you to the Riverside Homes team! We LOVE our Riverside home so so so much. We built long distance and bought our lot in Spring of 2022 when the market was just INSANE. Meeting Brian Thurston felt like divine intervention. Just when it seemed like we would never find a lot that was the right fit for us, he made it happen! He was patient as we explored floor plans, and always impeccably responsive to any questions we had which was a tremendous gift when being halfway across the country. We will be forever grateful to Brian who literally made our dreams a reality for our family.

The lot is what sold us. I don't think we had any idea the quality of home we were getting along with our dream spot, and to say we have been blown away is an understatement. The quality and features of the home are astounding and we adore our Riverside house.

Thank goodness for Ginger in the design center who steered us the right way on so many decisions that we never would have known to make! AND helped us steer clear of unnecessary upgrades to remain without our design budget.

While certainly there were some bumps along the way, Riverside was always right there to get us back on course. We have never been met with anything but the upmost kindness from all at the Riverside team: Brian, Ginger, Bobby and Kat, as well as all of the contractors and teams from building through warranty appointments. Very happy with our 2 year old Riverside Home and our opinion has been further confirmed during the current extremely hot, dog days of summer. The energy efficiency and low maintenance features are amazing. The house is beautiful and more importantly, the framework is excellent. Many buyers only look at the design and should not overlook the quality of these homes - cement fiberboard siding, higher design pressure windows, spray foam insulation, very tight envelope, and much more.... Our friends with older homes are dying when we compare power bills and ours is less than half of their bill.

It has been a great pleasure to be working with our New Home Sales Consultant from Riverside Homes. We live out of state so to know we are in such capable hands is a true blessing. Our New Homes Sales Consultant has walked us though every step of our new home build, and if we do have a question, gets back to us immediately. We understand that it is not easy during these times of lack of work material, however, he has kept us up to date, and right on time with the time frame that he first gave us. I highly recommend the Riverside Homes team if anyone is looking to have a home built.

We have been so pleased with our experience with our New Homes Sales Consultant and the team at Riverside Homes. Since the start of the process they have been transparent about the potential delays during our build, and to date have managed to keep us on or ahead of schedule-no small task in today’s environment. While other builders have increased contract prices to reflect the increasing costs of materials, Riverside had honored their commitment and pricing. We’re looking forward to wrapping up our build and moving into our forever home later this summer!

With our home on the market in Texas in 2021, we decided to get out of town so showings would be easier (2 dogs). We had our eyes on North Florida to get closer to the grandkids. To our dismay many areas that we looked at were not what we wanted. Being from Jacksonville originally, we decided to look in the Saint Augustine area. My husband had seen advertisements for Silverleaf and said let’s take a look. When we walked into the Ortega model both of us knew immediately that it was perfect for us. We met Brian and explained that our house in Texas was on the market and he said no problem!  Working with him was so great. He was so helpful with each step of our process and shared such wonderful advice. Everything worked out perfectly, our home sold in Texas and our building process in Silver Landing began. COVID and supply chain issues slowed things down a bit but not too much.  In the end, that final product was wonderful.

Everyone from the sales team to Tammy in the Design Center was so sweet and always happy to help. There are inevitably a few bumps in the road when building a house. Brian and the Riverside team were very good a keeping things smooth and as painless as possible. We highly recommend Riverside Homes and their team to anyone interested in building a home. Moving day is never exciting however, this move is different because we are moving into our dream home. Even the rain couldn’t dim our happiness! We are beyond impressed with Riverside Homes. We are 1/2 way through our build in Nocatee. So far, the whole process has been excellent. Cindy was very helpful getting started. Josh has been providing updates and assuring they are building a solid home for my family. Everything has been on time and the process to customize the home was smooth at an affordable cost.

Michelle continues to amaze us with her response to questions. During the whole process her communication is outstanding.  She is always available to get the answer! Many times when we have reached out she is off and will still respond.  I have to tell her it can wait!

When Michelle was moved to Nocatee we were worried but she assured us we would have her attention even with the change in location for her.
